Are you homeless?

How can we help?

Eden Housing Association carries out the statutory homelessness functions on behalf of Eden District Council.

If you think you are going to be homeless within 28 days, you must get in touch with the Housing Advice Officer on 01768 861428 as soon as possible. If you have no where to stay we may be able to help by making arrangements to place you and your family in temporary accommodation while your homeless application is being assessed.

In an emergency, if you are made homeless outside our office opening times contact our emergency out of hours service on 0800 3581401 for help.

If you have been served with a notice or going to be homeless after 28 days, you should get in touch with the Homeless Prevention Officer on 01768 861421 as soon as possible. We may be able to help you keep your home by talking to your landlord, arranging mediation or discussing other housing options with you.

An appointment can be arranged for you to either visit our office or we can visit you at home.
