Community Partnerships

Making the most of our communities

As part of our community activities we work with a wide range of organisations; from the Local Constabulary and Fire Service who help us provide support and awareness for our tenants, to Community Action Groups looking to develop better play facilities. Some of our most recent partnerships include:

• supporting the development of the now complete Brough Play Area
• supporting plans for a play area at Cliburn

Joining the older and younger generations

We work closely with Eden Youth Work Partnership and are very pleased with the joint Intergenerational Project that aims to bring younger and older people together. At Christmas the children in the community around Penrith's Sim Court Sheltered Housing Scheme helped prepare and deliver Christmas boxes to residents in both of Penrith's Sheltered Housing Units at Sim Court and The Crescent. This type of activity happens all year round - not just for Christmas!
