EYWP

Partnership with EYWP

Since the Autumn of 2005 we have had a formal agreement with Eden Youth Work Partnership.  We work closely on community development projects in a number of areas (currently Alston and Kirkby Stephen) sharing our skills, knowledge and experience to ensure that we provide the best possible service to the communities we work with.  Since December 2005 we have supported EYWP by providing an office space at our Blain House offices in Penrith.

In the absence of a Local Authority youth service, EYWP were set up to support youth clubs across the Eden District, they have since diversified and now provide youth work opportunities for young people .  As a charity, they receive funding from a number of different sources and aim to provide positive opportunities for young people throughout the district.

A key aim for EYWP is to develop leadership skills amongst local young people.
