We can’t stress enough the importance of having insurance cover for your own household contents. Ask yourself one question, if a fire or flood occurs within your home can you afford to replace all your household contents?

In addition to all the services Eden Housing Association provides, we also provide a home contents insurance scheme, which is payable with your rent. This is a voluntary scheme and you are of course free to make your own arrangements to insure the contents of your home. The scheme is specially designed for Housing Association Tenants, Leaseholders and Shared Ownership customers, with the leading Insurers RSA who underwrite the scheme. 

For as little as £0.44 per week you can cover your belongings in case a loss does occur.  Some key features of the scheme are 'no excess', 'pay your premiums with your rent', 'new for old' on most items, 'cover for fire', 'lightning, storm and flood loss' and 'theft of keys'.
