Independent Living Advisor – 14.5 Hours – The Crescent, Clifford Road, Penrith (Monday – Tuesday)
Salary – £19,412 pro rata
This is a key role delivering a high quality independent living service to customers in an Eden HA sheltered housing scheme.
Duties include supporting the Supported Housing Manager with day to day tasks of housing support and organising and delivering a range of services for the residents of our scheme. The post holder will act as an advocate for tenants, organising and facilitating services which will help maintain independence and keep tenants at home for as long as possible. It will involve liaising with any care teams and will involve regular contact with all residents and, as appropriate, their support circle which may include family and friends. Other duties include all aspects of building and tenancy management including managing repairs issues for tenants, health and safety inspections and fire alarm and equipment testing.
