Meet our frontline staff
In most cases our Corporate Administrator's will be your first 'port of call' when you have an enquiry by phone or if you visit our offices. However, sometimes you may need to speak to key frontline staff from housing, support services, property repairs or community development. We have included them below so you know who they are and how to contact them.
A thank you behind the scenes
Behind our organisation are a number of staff that support us. These include administration, finance and IT support - they are rarely met by our tenants but much appreciated by the staff at Eden Housing Association for their support.
Housing Team

Team leader for the Housing Team (South Patch) and is also Champion of Resident Involvement for the Association. This involves ensuring that Resident Involvement is embedded throughout Association and working closely with ECHO, our tenants and residents body.

Working closely with other agencies, gives advice and support to housing applicants who are homeless or are potentially homeless. Delivers the homeless service on behalf of Eden District Council, taking homeless applications and finding accommodation for homeless applicants.

Community Development Team

Sarah works Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Jenny works Monday - Friday
Responsible for the delivery of the Association’s Community Development Service. This involves working with communities to help build and maintain safe, happy and neighbourly communities, assisting communities and groups throughout the Eden District. Our Community Development staff also work alongside the Team Leader to deliver Resident Involvement activities. Sarah is also editor of the Association's newsletter - "Viewpoint".

The role of the Property Officer is to assist with the implementation of the planned maintenance programme, carrying out surveys, inspections and administration. They carry out quality control duties on planned maintenance contracts, liase with external consultants and monitor Health & Safety on site.

The duties involved include providing technical expertise to diagnose general maintenance faults both via the telephone and in homes when visiting tenants. Also to carry out pre and post repair inspections to properties and carry out site inspections of works in progress on day to day, re-let and cyclical repairs. Work with contractors and other agencies to make sure the whole repairs process runs smoothly throughout.

The Property Repairs Officer is the Association's first point of contact when tenants phone in with repairs, the repairs are reported to the contractors and then the Property Repairs Officer liaises with contractors when organising repairs, chasing up outstanding works and variations to jobs. The Property Repairs Officer also assists in the administration of other maintenance, annual servicing and miscellaneous contracts. The officer also works alongside the Property Inspectors, organising appointments and updating records when works are completed.

The Property Administrator provides administrative support to the property team and is there to provide support to the Property Repairs Officer at peak times and during holiday periods.

Tracy is responsible for managing various contracts within the property team including the Gas Contract, Grounds Maintenance contract, Electrical Testing and various other contracts.
