National Tenant Voice
The National Tenant Voice is the new independent organisation for tenants of housing associations, housing co-ops and local authorities (including ALMOs) in England. It is being set up to give tenants a voice, influence and expertise at national level. The NTV aims to be inspirational and dynamic, reflecting the views of tenants sought through consultation and research and will celebrate the diversity of tenants and communities.
At the heart of the NTV will be a National Tenant Council of fifty tenants who will meet to debate and discuss key housing policy issues, twenty-six members will be recruited through an open, independent recruitment campaign run by Hays Social Housing.
If you feel you can commit to four one-day meetings per year, please consider applying to be on the new National Tenant Council. Simply call or visit the website detailed below:

This once in a lifetime opening will provide a genuine chance for tenants viewpoints to be heard and provide social housing residents with an opportunity to influence national policies affecting social housing tenants.
Closing date for applications is the 16th October 2009.
