Notes of meeting 20th March 

Fly tipping reported on Thacka Beck EDC came and removed it and a litter pick was done to clear steps .The railing over Thacka Beck has been vandalised it has been reported to EDC.

Grit bins will go into next years budget.

One quote has been asked for the notice board outside the shop.This will be used to advertise events on the estate,police notices,EHA events.

We all agreed to proceed and try for another bus shelter near Mary Langley Way.We would apppreciate any help in our aim to achieve this.We have been trying for 2 years and each year the EDC say there is no money for maintenance.

A garden competition for the BEST KEPT GARDEN is planned for end of July.Entry forms will be delivered and a prize will be given to winner.

Our Priorities for 2009/10

• We have put in a request for grit bins on Pategill Road, Pategill Park and Prince Charles Close, and Thacka Beck.
• We have also agreed to get a notice board for the estate - which we hope to place near the shop.
• In the summer we would like to try and have a garden competition.
• We would like to involve youngsters from the estate in making some hanging baskets.
• We would like some ideas for speakers for the coming year.
• Teenager?  we would like ideas about what you would like to see on the estate!
