Upcoming courses

The 2010 Training Programme is now well underway with a wide variety of courses available.  Successful courses in Cookery, First Aid and Gardening have already been run, receiving very positive feedback from attendees.

Computer and Information Technology Training

We have a partnership with Fellside and Shap Community Development Centres, running the The Bursary Scheme.  This scheme offers funding for individual tenants of up to £50 towards courses held at the Centres.  Make the most of YOUR £50 bursary to receive FREE training.  To see the courses available visit www.fellsidecdc.org.uk or www.shapcumbria.co.uk/courses-at-shap-cdc.html

We also hold a list of people interested in the following subjects and then arrange a convenient date/time/location once we have enough people registered: 

• EHA - Beginner's guide to social housing
• EHA - Rent setting
• EHA - Starting and running a TRA
• EHA - Allocations policy
• EHA - Anti-social behaviour policy
• EHA - Repairs policy
