Extra Care Housing: purpose built accommodation for older people over the age of 55 with Eden support staff on site for set hours Monday to Friday and a care team on-site 7 days a week. Extra Care housing has a 24 hour emergency alarm service

Allocation is via a completed application form, a home visit and approval via an allocation panel consisting of representatives from Eden Housing Association, Cumbria Council, the on-site care provider and (for Heysham only) Carlisle City Council.
