Accommodation and Support Officer
37 hours (reduced hours over 5 days will be considered)
Salary – (£27,192 – £28,776)
EHA is contracted to provide the Housing Advice & Homelessness Service on behalf of Eden District Council. We require an Accommodation and Support Officer to work closely with the Housing Options team and key partners to manage all aspects of the temporary accommodation including providing first class support to customer.
The key accountabilities will include:
- Managing all aspects of temporary accommodation, ensuring customers comply with the terms and conditions of the licence agreement, carrying out daily health and safety checks.
- Provide support to customers living in temporary or short term accommodation, to promote independence, access services and maximise income. To work alongside the customer to assess, review and monitor support needs, plans and risk on a regular basis assessments.

Customer Scrutiny Panel
We are recruiting new members to form a Customer Scrutiny Panel – would you be interested?
The Customer Panel will be able to challenge Eden Housing Association on the quality of our services.
As a member of the Panel you would give an independent view on how we are performing and the processes we use, highlight what is good about our current service and what needs to change.
Members of the Panel are volunteers but we reimburse travel, childcare costs and other out of pocket expenses. You will be given full training to allow you the skills to fulfil the role.
