Casual Scheme Co-ordinator

Hourly rate £11.57

We are looking to recruit a Casual Scheme Co-ordinator to cover our Assisted Living and Extra Care Schemes in Penrith, Carlisle, Shap, Appleby and Kirkby Stephen.

This is a key role delivering a high quality independent living service to customers in our extra care scheme in any of the above locations.

Duties include working with the Extra Care Co-ordinator and Support and Activity Advisor to deliver day to day tasks of housing support, together with organising and delivering a variety of services for the residents. The post holder will act as an advocate for residents, organising and facilitating services which will help maintain independence and quality of life for residents. It will involve liaising with any care teams, regular contact with all residents and, as appropriate, their support circle which may include family and friends. Other duties will include health and safety inspections, including fire alarm and equipment testing.

This would be a zero hours agreement between the Association and the Casual Scheme Co-ordinator where the Association is not obliged to offer work and you may also refuse the offer of work.

Customer Scrutiny Panel

We are recruiting new members to form a Customer Scrutiny Panel – would you be interested?

The Customer Panel will be able to challenge Eden Housing Association on the quality of our services.

As a member of the Panel you would give an independent view on how we are performing and the processes we use, highlight what is good about our current service and what needs to change.

Members of the Panel are volunteers but we reimburse travel, childcare costs and other out of pocket expenses. You will be given full training to allow you the skills to fulfil the role.
